Sherlock Holmes is the worlds most famous detective.
Many millions read the stories and do all sorts of things
to celebrate the great mans life and work.
Nicholas Twit is a very young fan of Sherlock Holmes.
The Nicholas Twit books contain small items [snippets]
of information about Mr Holmes, his creator, and people associated
with these men.
This information may be trivial to some but to others it
can be fascinating. Heres an example.
Agatha Christie, the world-famous writer of mysteries,
once disappeared. This made headlines around the world.
One of the many people searching for Agatha Christie was
another writer, the creator of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur
Conan Doyle. Agatha Christie was found many miles
from where she disappeared and spoke very little of her
disappearance. But she did allow one of her characters to
say some unkind things about the stories starring Sherlock
Holmes. I wonder why?
If you have a Sherlockian Snippet for the Nicholas Twit books, contributions
are welcome.
