A schoolboy detective! 10 year-old Nicholas Twit is a huge
fan of Sherlock Holmes. Nick solves mysteries reported in
glossy, illustrated, soft-cover books suitable for readers
aged 8 to 80.
Holmes lived about 100 years ago but Nicholas is alive today.
The Twit books have mysteries, new words called Twit-Speak, illustrations, puzzles and tit-bits about Sherlock Holmes called Sherlockian Snippets.
In 1905 Mr Holmes had Dr Watson to
help solve mysteries. In 2005 Nicholas works
with his own Dr Watson - Felicity Heywood-Jones, 13, bossy and clever.
Nicholas collects material about Sherlock Holmes. Nicks
room is like the Sherlockian room in Baker Street, London with
chairs, slippers, a violin, newspapers and desks. There's a hidden door, a curtained-off area and a hi-tech digital workstation. Impressive. See it all in the detailed picture of Nick's bedroom in Book 2. It's strange and wonderful. You see, Nick's nuts
about the worlds greatest detective.
Some kids dont know what they want to do when they
grow up. Nicholas Twit not only knows he wants to be
a detective, he actually gets to be one. Now, while hes
still a kid at school.
The mysteries, pictures and word games are in the books. The extra bits are
